Recap: Week of Feb 12th

Launches 🚀

• Trader Joe introduced a token based on the DN-404 standard called SHOE. The DN-404 standard, like ERC-404, combines the benefits of fungible tokens and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

• Prisma Finance launched ULTRA, a new stablecoin issued by PrismaLRT, a new borrowing protocol developed by Prisma focused on unlocking liquidity for Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRTs).

• GenesisLRT, a liquid restaking protocol on EigenLayer, is live. Users can earn rewards, double Gems, plus EigenLayer points.

• Stakewithus, an ETH staking dApp, is live on the Ethereum mainnet. Unaggi is for multi-chain yield service while Stakewithus is for ETH staking specifically.

• Cow DAO rolled out Cow AMM, an AMM that protects liquidity providers from arbitrage bots. CoW AMM pools are optimal for every token pair that is not stable-to-stable.

Updates 🚩

• Zeta Markets launched a mobile version and enabled 2x Z-Score on all mobile trades until the 18th.

• Moonwell enabled cross-chain lending of Circle's USDC stablecoin to Moonwell from Ethereum networks with a tool called USDC Anywhere.

• MEV Protocol launched mevAuction on testnet. mevAuction provides a market for validators to auction off their blockspaces to the highest bidder. Bidders are usually blockbuilders or searchers.

• Sommelier Finance expanded to Arbitrum with Arbitrum Real Yield ETH vault live.

• ZKP2P, a P2P fiat onramp protocol, now allows users to use the protocol with zero transaction fees on Base L2.

Upcoming ⏳

• Liquity will introduce a new CDP model with enhancements such as user-set interest rates, better redemption protection, adaptation to all economic conditions, etc.

• Klaytn and Finschia merger proposal has passed and the two will launch a unified mainnet.

• Ethereum Dencun upgrade is set to go live on 13/03/2024 at 13:55:35 UTC.

• Susa, a perpetual DEX by Sushiswap, will launch on Layer N.

• Vertex Edge, a Synchronous Orderbook Liquidity layer, will begin with the first cross-chain (non-Arbitrum) Vertex Edge instance — Blitz on Blast.

• Lyra DAO proposes to Migrate $LYRA and governance to Lyra Chain, and Buyback $LYRA and distribute to active governance participants

• ApecoinDAO has decided to develop ApeChain utilizing the Arbitrum tech stack.

• Lido DAO contributors are preparing for Simple DVT release on the mainnet.

• Mars DAO proposes the re-introduction of MARS staking rewards for 2 months

• Treasure DAO proposes to select the ecosystem to build the Treasure Chain. Options include Optimism, zkSync, SKALE, and Arbitrum.

• Magic Eden is to go live on Ethereum on Feb 27th.

• Solana Mobile Snapshot 2 for the Chapter 2 Leaderboard will be taken on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, at 7 PM UTC.

• Wormhole announces airdrop and tokenomics for W token.

• Starknet revealed a distribution plan for STRK and the upcoming Starknet Provisions Program.

• Xave Finance, an RWA market protocol, introduces Xave Points. Points can be earned by swapping, lending, borrowing, LPing, and referrals.

• Pyth Network announced airdrop Phase 2, with tokens distributed to 160 dApps across 27 chains.

• Avalanche Yield Yak stable farms offer good yields.

• Notional announces V3 yield contest with 2700 ARB in prizes.

• IdleDAO yield tranches offer good yield on stables.
