Product Launches 🚀

• Dopex CLAMM Public Testing
  Deopx launches public testing for CLAMM. CLAMM is part of the Dopex V2 upgrade, using v3 AMM positions to help LPs earn additional premiums and give option buyers more flexibility.

• Etheruem Holesky Testnet Live
  The Holesky testnet has been relaunched by devs after a previously unsuccessful attempt. In a previous call devs had recommended launching Dencun on testnets in the following order: Holesky, Goerli, and Sepolia.

• Aori Order Beta Live
  Aori launches the beta of Order protocol, allowing users to create public or private orders on testnet.

• Angle stEUR Live
  Angle launches stEUR, allowing users to stake agEUR to get stEUR while earning a fixed 4% APY (paid in agEUR).

• Notional V3 Beta Live
  Notional V3 Beta is live on Arbitrum with new leveraged yield strategies, variable & fixed rate lend/borrow, and UX/UI. Notional is running a yield contest to reward winners with tokens and NFTs.

• LlamaFolio Live
  LlamaFolio, a portfolio tracker built by Defi Llama, is now live.

Project Updates 🚩

• Ren Foundation Introduced
  Ren introduces Ren Foundation, a non-profit, independent organization that focuses on the research and development of blockchain interoperability.

• Gains 6.4.1 Upgrade
  Gains Network launches gTrade 6.4.1 upgrade with changes to the incentives and increament to the staker revenue sharing by ~60-80%.

• IBC on BSC
  Bridging protocol Toki enables IBC on the BnB chain. BnB chain is now able to communicate with other blockchains using IBC.

• Linea Voyage XPs
  Linea introduces Voyage XPs, non-transferrable SBTs that will be used as rewards for community members making contributions. The team plans to distribute XPs during the upcoming Linea Voyage program.

• Arbitrum Odyssey Relaunches
  Arbitrum relaunches the official version of Odyssey Beginning with the first-week GMX mission, users can earn badges (no airdrop guaranteed) by completing tasks throughout the 7-week campaign.

• GMX V2 Risk Portal
  Chaos Labs launches GMX V2 Risk Portal, a risk monitoring and alerting platform on Arbitrum and Avalanche. The tool allows users to access metrics & data, monitor their positions, and explore opportunities on GMX v2.

• Pika V4 Commodity Trading
  Pika V4 now supports commodity trading on gold (XAU-USD) and silver (XAG-USD) with up to 200x leverage.

• Dopex Sunsetting V1
  Dopex will sunset V1 and reintroduce most products under V2.

Governance Highlights 📜

• Approved: dYdX v4 Launch Incentives
  Dydx approved the proposal to launch a 20M, 6-month long Launch Incentives Program for v4.

• Voting: BNT as an Official Governance Token
  Bancor governance is voting to turn BNT into an official governance token to Bancor netowrk in addition of vBNT.

• Proposal: Redeem User Positions to Restore R
  Raft community proposes to “encourage users with existing and risky v1 positions to close them and migrate their collateral to the new v2 vaults to generate R” in order to restore the R peg.

Regulations 🏛️

• Valkyrie ETH Futures ETF Launching
  Valkyrie got approval to add ETH futures contract to its existing bitcoin futures ETF and will repackage its $BTF ETF. The effective date is expected to be Oct 3.

• SEC Delays Bitcoin Spot ETFs
  The SEC has delayed decisions on the proposed Bitcoin ETF applications from ARK 21Shares, Global X, Valkyrie, BlackRock, Bitwise and Invesco.

Hacks/Issues 👾

• HTX $8M Hack
  HTX was hacked and lost 5,000 ETH (~$8M). The loss has been covered and issues have been resolved according to HTX advisor Justin Sun.

• Vesta Finance Dissolution
  Vesta Finance voted to discontinue the protocol as a result of the founders’ conflict. VSTA holders will have unlimited time to exchange their VSTA for a pro-rata share of the total Vesta Finance treasury.

Upcoming ⏳

• Yearn veYFI
  Yearn will launch veYFI on Oct 19, with the gauge voting beginning a week prior. The veYFI is Yearn’s vote escrow token that will give holders protocol profits, boosts on discounted tokens (dYFI), and potential future incentives.

• Manifold mevETH
  Manifold Finance will launch mevETH soon. The mevETH token is an MEV-centric LSD and also an Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) that will be live on LayerZero-supported networks.
